Mikaela Rosén has worked for a variety of companies since 2008. Mikaela began their career as Head of Management for the Royal Swedish Yacht Club, KSSS. In 2015, they were a Legal Intern for UNDP and a Uppsatspraktikant Stockholms tingsrätt for Domstolsverket. In 2016, they were an Attorney for Microsoft, where they provided legal advice in areas such as intellectual property, contract law, IT law, data privacy, marketing law, and legal aspects of information security. In 2017, they became a Board Member for Svenska föreningen för IT och juridik. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as Legal Counsel for Zettle by PayPal. Additionally, in 2014 they founded Women for Education, a global non-profit organisation, and served as its CEO until 2022. As CEO, they managed a global team of ten people towards the goal of empowering the next generation of female leaders.
Mikaela Rosén attended Lund University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) in Juridik. Mikaela was an exchange student at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2014 to 2015, studying International Law. From 2013 to 2014, they were an exchange student at London South Bank University, where they studied Company Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. In 2013, they also attended Uppsala University for an Informationsystem/Office program.
