Mike Woronuk has extensive work experience in various marketing and strategy roles. Mike is currently the Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Raven Strategy Group. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategy Director at Bartley & Dick Brand Communications, where they managed brand development, website building, and advertising campaigns. Mike also served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Consultant at Juneberry Ridge, a regenerative farm and hospitality business. Additionally, Mike held the position of Vice President of Marketing at Burford Capital, where they led marketing operations and team management. Mike has also worked as the Head of Marketing at LighthouseLGBT, Chief of Staff at Scotiabank, and Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in New York. Mike started their career as a Marketing Manager at BBC News and as a Sales and Marketing Executive at Castalia Communications. Mike began their professional journey as a Marketing Assistant for the Government of Alberta.
Mike Woronuk has a diverse education background. In 2020, they earned a Certificate in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online. From 2004 to 2009, they attended the University of Alberta, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. During their time there, they focused on courses related to International Business, Marketing, and Business Law. In 2008, as part of their studies, Mike participated in a Study Abroad program at Copenhagen Business School, specializing in International Business.
