Matt Shandy is an Associate Attorney at Vela Wood since September 2023, providing legal counsel to emerging companies and investors throughout the company lifecycle. As an investor in June Home Supply since February 2023, Matt supports an ecommerce home goods company. Previously, as Principal at Dundee Venture Capital from November 2021 to February 2023, Matt managed legal counsel, sourced investments, and participated in portfolio company boards, with a focus on early-stage ecommerce startups. Matt also served as a law school adjunct professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in early 2022, teaching a course on startups and venture capital. Prior experience includes roles at Lewis & Clark Ventures, Cooley LLP, and White & Case LLP, where Matt specialized in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. Matt holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, summa cum laude, from the University of Oklahoma.
