Joseph Mucheru is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in technology, innovation, and governance. Currently serving as the President of JUMO, Mucheru also holds positions as a Trustee on the University of Nairobi Foundation Board of Trustees and as a Global Board Member for UNICEF's GENERATION UNLIMITED. Previously, Mucheru served as the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of ICT, Innovation, and Youth Affairs in the Government of Kenya and is the Chairman of the African Telecommunications Union. Mucheru's educational background includes a Stanford Executive Program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Joint Honors in Economics and Computer Science from City, University of London.
