Dan Sparks is an experienced DevOps Engineer currently working at Jumar since October 2023. Prior to this role, Dan took a well-earned month off in September 2023. Dan has held significant positions, including Principal Platform Engineer at Anaplan from April 2020 to August 2023, and Director of Roe Sparks Consulting LTD from July 2016 to April 2020. Additional roles include DevOps Engineer at Burberry, DevOps/Cloud Consultant at Capgemini, and a series of consulting positions in DevOps and Agile methodologies at Barclays UK and Piksel Inc. Notably, while at the Disclosure and Barring Service, Dan's team received the Outstanding Achievement - Pride of DBS Award. Dan’s foundational experience dates back to 2010 as Lead Developer for Best Online Universities LLC, and academic credentials include a BSc(Hons) in Applied Computing from the University of West London.
