Shaukat Mir is an experienced executive with a strong background in project development and management, holding key positions in prominent organizations since the early 1980s. Currently serving as Head of Project Development and Management Group and Chief Contracting Officer at Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C since September 2020, Shaukat Mir oversees the Contracting and Services sector. Previously, as Chief Project Development Officer and Corporate Advisor for the same company, Shaukat Mir provided strategic advice on risk management and business development. Earlier roles include Chief Executive Officer at ETA, where Shaukat managed engineering and construction operations across various regions, as well as several senior positions at Voltas Limited, including Executive Vice President. Shaukat Mir began career at Voltas Limited as a Management Trainee and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
