Jessica Detwiler

Senior Actuarial Services Manager at July Business Services

Jessica Detwiler has over 20 years of experience in the retirement benefits industry. Jessica began their career in 2000 as an ERISA Compliance Manager at The 401(k) Company, a division of Charles Schwab. During their time there, they worked in multiple areas of operations, including distribution and contribution processing, plan implementations, and trust reconciliation. In 2008, they moved to The Standard as a Compliance Solutions Analyst, where they acted as a technical expert and mentor on ERISA non-discrimination testing and Form 5500 preparation for third-party administrators. Jessica also performed quality analysis in peer review of non-discrimination testing and 5500 preparation, as well as completed their own book of business of complex plan design and employer calculations. In 2012, they joined PeaceHealth as a Retirement Benefits Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for day-to-day retirement plan administration, including ERISA and Non-ERISA, qualified and non-qualified plans with collectively bargained components. Jessica was also part of the team responsible for consolidating payroll systems to one platform. Finally, in 2015, they became a Client Service Manager at July Business Services.

Jessica Detwiler received their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Finance from The University of Texas at Austin in 1998. Jessica also holds an Associate's Degree in Mathematics from McLennan Community College.
