Julie Vaillancourt has had a successful career in the field of medical research, starting in 2005 as a Research Associate at both JSS Medical Research and Centre de recherche Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal. Julie progressed through various roles at JSS Medical Research, including roles in Biostatistics, Scientific Affairs, and Data Management, ultimately reaching the position of Senior Director of Data Management and Bioinformatics in 2023. Julie'swork experience demonstrates a strong background in academic research, biostatistics, and scientific affairs.

Julie Vaillancourt completed their Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at Université Laval in 2002. Julie then went on to earn their Master of Science in Pharmacoepidemiology from the same institution in 2004, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical Product Development in 2006. Currently, they are a candidate for a PhD in Experimental Surgery/Epidemiology at McGill University, starting in 2007.
