Yanping Chen is an experienced QA professional with a strong background in software quality assurance and system verification testing. Currently serving as a Senior QA Specialist at JSI since March 2022, Yanping has previously held the position of Project Lead - Quality Assurance at Persistent Systems, where involvement in system verification testing was continued from time at IBM. Yanping's tenure at IBM spanned eight years, progressing from Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer to IBM CAS Research Fellow, with a focus on Agile methodologies and the software testing process. Earlier experience includes roles as a Database Administrator, Software Developer, and Software Engineer, complemented by a Doctor of Philosophy and Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Bachelor's degree from East China Normal University.
