Sergey Salikov currently serves as a Member of the Advisory Board at JSCB "Kapitalbank" since July 2023 and as General Counsel at Uzum since March 2022, where responsibilities include establishing a legal department, overseeing M&A activities, and managing corporate governance. Prior to these roles, Sergey held the position of Head of the Legal Department at the Russian Direct Investment Fund, leading a team of 12 investment lawyers managing a portfolio of 46 billion USD. Additional experience includes positions at Gazprombank as Director, specializing in M&A and private equity, and earlier roles at EY and Roedl & Partner as Associate, as well as a paralegal position at Ernst & Young. Sergey holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law from the University of Münster and a law degree from the Russian Foreign Trade Academy.
