Marjolijn Snijders has extensive experience in spatial planning and legal advisory roles within municipal governments in the Netherlands. Currently serving as an Adviseur programma Omgevingswet at Gemeente Almelo since June 2020, Marjolijn also holds the position of Adviseur ruimtelijke ordening at JS Consultancy since July 2019. Previously, Marjolijn was a senior legal advisor in spatial planning at Gemeente Emmen from January 2004 to July 2019 and has also worked with various municipalities through Sargas detachering from September 2000 to December 2003. Marjolijn's career began as a medewerker ruimtelijke ordening at gemeente Haaksbergen from May 1999 to August 2000. Marjolijn holds a Doctorandus degree in Geography from the University of Amsterdam, completed between 1997 and 1999.
