Amy Veloz has over 17 years of experience in the communications and public relations field. Amy began their career in 2002 as a Public Information Officer Assistant at the City of Sparks. In 2004, they joined MassMedia as a Public Relations Coordinator, where they worked primarily with the pet products industry. From 2005 to 2009, they worked at Consultants in Marketing as a Public Relations professional, working with a variety of clients from construction to the funeral industry. In 2009, they co-founded PR Media Professionals, a full-service company offering affordable solutions for PR and marketing needs. Amy then joined CIM Marketing Partners as a Senior Public Relations Manager, leading the public relations department and developing and managing communications, social media, and online reputation management strategies for clients. In 2015, they joined JRNL.com as Director of Communications, where they were responsible for customer relations, social media outreach, public relations, and marketing. In 2017, they joined both Fanbooks and Varkain, LLC as Director of Communications.

Amy Veloz attended Breckinridge County High School from 1996 to 1999, Pahrump Valley High School from 1999 to 2000, and the University of Nevada, Reno from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Journalism with a focus in Advertising and Public Relations.
