Jon Shearin worked as a Software Engineer at Lenovo from March 2002 to June 2023. Jon then joined JPS as a Senior Software Engineer in June 2023.

Jon Shearin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Data Management/Data Analytics from Western Governors University, where they studied from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Wake Technical Community College from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology.
