James Foye has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles in the field of engineering and technical support. James began their career as a Service Manager at Hospital Communications Inc. in 2000 and served in that role until 2007. Following this, they joined Ascom Integrated Wireless as a Technical Support Specialist from 2006 to 2009. In 2008, James joined Raytheon as a Field Engineer in the Land Mobile Radio systems integrations group, where they were responsible for designing systems, creating quotes, and managing projects to completion. James also provided training and traveled for integration installations. James moved on to a similar role as a Field Engineer ll at Raytheon JPS Communications from 2008 to 2017. In this position, they continued working on the integration of Land Mobile Radio systems and managing projects. In 2016, James joined Hill-Rom as an Associate Implementation Engineer until 2017. Currently, they are employed at JPS Interoperability Solutions, Inc. as a System Engineer.

James Foye has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, specializing in Information Assurance and Security, which they obtained from Capella University. James attended Capella University from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Coastal Carolina Community College, where they studied from 1989 to 1991.
