Anish Bhimani

Chief Product Officer, Global Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Anish Bhimani is Managing Director and Chief Product Officer for Commercial Banking at JPMorgan Chase. In this role, he has global responsibility for digital strategy, data transformation, and product development in Commercial Banking, a $10 billion business in revenue serving nearly 25,000 clients globally, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit entities, as well as nearly 35,000 real estate investors and owners. In addition, Anish is a member of the Commercial Banking Operating Committee.

Prior to assuming the Chief Product Officer role in late 2021, he spent seven years as Chief Information Officer for Commercial Banking, responsible for the technology environment serving the business globally. In the years prior to that, he served as Chief Information Officer for Corporate Technology and Risk, as well as seven years as the firm’s global Chief Information Security Officer.

Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Anish held senior roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, Global Integrity Corporation (an SAIC Company) and Predictive Systems. Earlier in his career, Anish worked in the Security & Fraud Reduction practice at Bell Communications Research.

Anish has been active in a number of industry-wide forums, including four years as Chair of the Risk Committee of The Clearing House, and four years as Chairman of the Board of the FS/ISAC. He was selected as Information Security Executive of the Decade for North America by Tech Exec Networks, and was named to Bank Technology News’ “Top 25 Innovators” list in 2008 for his novel approach to information risk management. He also sits on the Advisory Council for the School of Engineering at Brown University, as well as on the University’s Risk & Audit Committee.

Anish has written numerous articles, and has lectured around the world on topics related to cybersecurity and technology innovation. He is the co-author of Internet Security for Business (Wiley & Sons, 1996), and a U.S. patent holder.

Anish received a Sc.B. in Engineering from Brown University, and an M.S. in Information Networking from Carnegie-Mellon University.
