Mutaz Shkoukani has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Mutaz has held executive and director roles at various companies, including Joyson Safety Systems and Key Safety Systems. At Key Safety Systems, they were the Global Director of Systems Engineering & Integration, where they managed a global team and drove advanced restraints technology. Prior to that, they worked at TASS as an Engineering Manager, responsible for building an in-house engineering team. Mutaz also has experience as a Lead Engineer at Key Safety Systems, where they worked on optimizing frontal restraint systems for Audi. Mutaz has also worked as a Quality Engineer at GENERAL MOTORS (GM) and as a Part-Time Instructor at Macomb Community College.
Mutaz Shkoukani completed their education with an Associate Degree of General Studies in Engineering from Macomb Community College in 1995. Mutaz then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University, graduating in 1997. Mutaz later obtained a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering (Transportation Related Trauma) from Wayne State University in 2000.
