Valerie Cyrkel is a seasoned professional in people and culture management, currently serving as Senior People & Culture Manager at Journee since November 2023. Prior to this role, Valerie accumulated extensive experience at N26 from December 2019 to September 2023, where positions included People Operations Team Lead, Senior People Operations Partner, Junior People Operations Team Lead, People Operations Partner, People Operations Specialist, and People Operations Intern. Valerie’s earlier career included teaching English at BERLITZ and assisting in various academic roles at Jacobs University Bremen, where a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Social Sciences was earned. Additional experience includes a marketing and sales internship at Philosoffee and serving as a referee for US Lacrosse from September 2013 to May 2016.
