Scott Blicharz has extensive experience in sports journalism, serving as Sports News Editor at Peoria Journal Star since May 1995. Prior to this role, Scott worked as a Sportswriter for Elgin Courier News from October 1992 to May 1995 and as Sports Editor for Freeport Journal Standard from December 1990 to October 1992. In terms of education, Scott obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Marquette University between 1986 and 1989 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Accounting at Illinois State University, with studies taking place from 2013 to 2016.
