Cassidy Waigand is a dedicated journalist with extensive experience in reporting, editing, and photography. Currently serving as a Food and Dining Reporter at Journal Star since June 2022, Cassidy previously worked as a Writer and Photographer at Riverfront Times, where coverage included nonprofit organizations and unique restaurants. As Editor-in-Chief at Webster Journal, responsibilities included finding, assigning, and editing stories while maintaining communication with section editors and writers. Additional roles included Reporter and Photographer at Leader Publications, Managing Editor at Webster Journal, and Student Literacy Corps Tutor, providing one-on-one tutoring in English and writing. Cassidy holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Webster University and an Associate of Arts from Jefferson College.
