Dave DeMuro has held a variety of engineering and management roles in the technology industry. Dave started their career in 1994 as a Product Manager & Engineering Manager at Motorola Mobile Devices. From 2001 to 2005, they worked at the Motorola Energy Systems Group as Manager, Advanced Technology. During this time, they led an advanced development team in creating new product concepts utilizing emerging energy technologies for portable devices. From 2005 to 2008, Dave worked at Texas Instruments as a Product Manager, where they drove new product technology for advanced battery fuel gauge and protection systems for portable devices. In 2008, they joined Apple as Hardware Engineering, Battery and Power Systems, where they led the development of advanced battery modules and power systems for use in Apple portable consumer products. In 2021, Dave became the Chief Technology Officer at Joule Case, where they are driving the execution of Joule Case's vision to provide clean, reliable power.
Dave DeMuro obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1980 and 1984, with a focus on Communication Systems. Dave then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 1989 and 1993, with a focus on Technology Management.
