Wagner Cornejo has a diverse work experience, starting in 1991 as the Director of Operations at Pro Motor Costa Rica. Wagner then moved on to become the General Manager at G2 Costa Rica from 1996 to 2010. In 2000, they joined Jotabequ Grey as an Account Supervisor until 2005. In 2010, they became the CEO at jotabequ, and in 2017, they took up the position of CEO at The Bridge. Currently, Wagner is the Chief Executive Officer at Grupo JBQ, starting from May 2023.

Wagner Cornejo has an MBA in Licenciatura en Marketing from Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica and another MBA in Marketing from Universidad Latina. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Brand Development from Grey Latin America and in Shopper Marketing from The Retail Factory (TRF).
