Matthew Phillips is a dedicated education professional currently serving as a Behavioral Specialist at Jordan Public Schools since June 2023, focusing on behavior management support for students and teachers. Previously, Matthew spent a decade at New Prague Area Schools, primarily as a 4th grade teacher at Raven Stream Elementary School, with earlier experience as a 3rd grade teacher in the same institution. In addition, Matthew held the role of Summer Admin Intern, where responsibilities included managing summer learning programs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Early career experiences also feature a position as a substitute teacher and park maintenance work. Matthew holds a Graduate Certificate in Administration from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, in addition to a Master's in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the same institution and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, respectively.
