Melissa Villanueva, MA, currently serves as the Head of Global Learning and Development at Jollibee Foods Corporation, a role held since April 2017. Prior experience includes serving as the Training and Development Director for Asia and the Pacific at Regus, overseeing learning initiatives across 16 countries, while also fulfilling the HR Head role for Southeast Asia. As an independent consultant from 1992 to 2016, Melissa provided project-based learning and development expertise. Previous positions include Senior Training and Development Manager at SM Supermalls and Assistant Director for Training and Quality at ICT Group, where management of training and quality assurance was crucial for a major US telecommunications account. Additional experience includes a senior learning and development management role at Luen Thai International and various operational roles in retail management. Melissa holds advanced degrees in Education and Curriculum and Instruction from the University of the Philippines, and a BS in Clothing Technology from the same institution.
