Thomas Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2004, they worked at the Office of Naval Intelligence as the Emerging Technologies Team Lead, responsible for testing and evaluating new technologies and methodologies. From 2006 to 2008, they served as an Intelligence Advisor to the Iraqi Army Brigade, providing guidance and training on intelligence operations in Fallujah, Iraq.
In 2008, Thomas joined the 31st meu/3D intelligence Bn (USMC) as the Production Manager & Senior Imagery Analyst, ensuring the quality and dissemination of geospatial products. Thomas then moved to the 2nd Marine Air Wing, where they served as the Operations Manager & Senior Imagery Intelligence Analyst, leading and mentoring a team of intelligence analysts and contributing to the development of training guidelines for Marine forces worldwide.
From 2010 to 2013, Thomas held multiple roles at the United States Marine Corps, including Collections Manager & Senior Imagery Analyst and Senior Operations Advisor. In these positions, they oversaw intelligence operations, optimized performance through coaching and mentoring, and implemented new procedures to improve information management.
Thomas also worked at the U.S. EMBASSY ACCRA, DEFENSE ATTACHÉ OFFICE as the Senior Operations Manager / Special Security Representative, supervising operations and advancing trade and investment partnerships across Sub-Saharan Africa. Thomas then joined Joint Computer Technologies & Training Management (JCTM) LLC as a Business Intelligence Consultant, before eventually becoming the Chief Operating Officer in 2022.
Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated strong leadership, expertise in intelligence analysis, and a commitment to supporting military operations and ensuring the success of their team.
Thomas Smith earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from American Military University from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in October 2020, the Geospatial Professional Certification - Fundamentals (GPC-F) from NGA in 2016, and the Special Security Representative (SSR) from Defense Intelligence Agency in June 2013.
