Yinglei Han is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in the field of materials science and biomass conversions. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories and the Joint BioEnergy Institute since March 2022, Yinglei brings expertise in catalytic processes for renewable energy applications. Previous roles include a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Assistant at Washington State University from January 2015 to March 2022. Yinglei holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Washington State University, focusing on the catalytic hydrotreatment of biomass-derived oils for aviation fuel, as well as two Master's degrees in Upgrading wood pyrolysis oil and Material Science from the University of Idaho and the Chinese Academy of Forestry, respectively. Undergraduate education was completed at Beijing Forestry University in Materials Science.
