Angela Rastegar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Module Leader at Monitor Deloitte until 2008. Following this, they joined PepsiCo as a Senior Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis from 2008 to 2009.

In 2011, Angela joined Dalberg Global Development Advisors as a Manager, providing management consultancy services to clients such as the Gates Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, World Bank, UN Foundation, and Fortune 500 companies. Angela remained with the company until 2014.

From 2014 to 2017, Angela founded and served as the CEO of Agora for Good, an online marketplace connecting companies and individuals to high-impact nonprofits. During their tenure, Agora facilitated donations to hundreds of nonprofits across approximately 80 countries.

Angela's next role was as an Investor and Strategic Advisor, where they provided advice on impact investing and environmental and social strategy implementation to various clients, including Impossible Foods and the Stupski Foundation, a $300 million private foundation associated with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Angela held this position from 2017 to 2018.

From 2018 to 2019, Angela served as an Interim Fund Manager at Village Capital, a venture capital firm focusing on early-stage ventures addressing global challenges in agriculture, education, energy, financial inclusion, and health. Angela also advised Village Capital during this time.

In 2019, Angela joined Circle Surrogacy as the Director for the West Coast and Asia Pacific regions. Angela held this role until 2022.

Following their tenure at Circle Surrogacy, Angela became the Chief Executive Officer of Origin Finance in 2020. Origin provided loans for various family-building options like IVF, egg freezing, embryo preservation, gestational surrogacy, and egg donations. Angela led the company until early 2022.

Lastly, Angela currently holds the position of Co-Founder and CEO at Sunfish, a company founded in 2022.

Angela Rastegar's education history includes a BA degree in Human Biology and Global Health, Economics from Stanford University, a High school education from Punahou School, and an MBA degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
