Simon Price is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Johnson Matthey since July 2019, Simon also held the position of Deputy General Counsel. Prior to this role, Simon spent four years at Smiths Group plc, first as Associate General Counsel and then as General Counsel, after serving as Group Legal Risk and Insurance Director at the same company. Simon's career began at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where a decade-long tenure included roles from Trainee to Senior Associate in Corporate law. Simon holds a DPhil in Molecular Genetics with a focus on Cardiovascular Disease from the University of Oxford and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from The University of Manchester.
