David Foxwell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in process chemistry and metallurgical engineering, currently serving as the Brimsdown Technical Support Manager at Johnson Matthey since April 2014. In this role, David leads a team of engineers and metallurgists to support production facilities, focusing on pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes in secondary platinum group metal refining. With a strong background in PGM separation development, David has held various positions at Johnson Matthey, including Principal Process Chemist and Senior Process Chemist, demonstrating expertise in liquid-liquid extraction and containment solutions. David began their career as a Fuel Cells Test Engineer and gained valuable teaching experience as a STEM Intern at Reading School. A graduate of the University of Oxford with a Masterā€™s degree in Chemistry, David Foxwell has built a solid foundation in both research and practical applications within the field.
