Shanta Dickerson has over a decade of experience in operations and customer service, currently serving as the Director of Operations for Friends of the Johnson County Library since February 2010. In this role, Shanta oversees bookstore and internet sales operations and manages book sale programs, including the acceptance of donations. Previous positions include Registration Assistant at Johnson County Parks & Recreation District, Daycare and Retail Store Attendant at JoCo Barking Club, Customer Service Representative at Harte-Hanks, and Logistics Associate at Old Navy. Shanta's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Literature Language and Writing with a minor in Public Administration from the University of Kansas, as well as studies at the University of Colorado Denver.
