Marty Johannes is an experienced Reference Librarian currently serving at Johnson County Library since June 2007. Previously, Marty held similar roles at Hawaii Pacific University from 1997 to 2000, as well as at Montgomery College in 1995-1996. Marty's early career included a position as Education Specialist at the University of Maryland - European Division from 1993 to 1994, and roles in marketing and management, including Marketing Specialist at AOPA and Branch Manager at Kelly Assisted Living Services. Marty began a professional journey in customer service as Customer Service Manager at Airborne Express from 1982 to 1987. Marty holds a Master of Library Science from the University of Maryland and a BS in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Rockhurst University.
