John Clayton is currently the ED, Institutional Effectiveness, Research & Planning at Johnson County Community College. John has previously served on the Benchmark Advisory Board Member for the National Higher Education Benchmarking Institute and as the President for the Mid-America Association for Institutional Research. John has also been a Board Member/Secretary and Board Member/Program Chair for the Mid-America Association for Institutional Research.

John Clayton holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Lindenwood University in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration, an MBA from Northwest Missouri State University in Management Information Systems, and a BS from Northwest Missouri State University in Computer Science.
