Andrew Bowne has been working in higher education for over 20 years. Andrew started as an adjunct faculty member at Cornerstone University and then became the Executive Director of the Association of Commerce & Industry. In 2000, they transitioned to Shape Corporation where they were the Manager of Training & Organization Development. In 2003, they became the Associate Vice President for College Advancement at Grand Rapids Community College. In 2012, they left Grand Rapids Community College to be the Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana. Andrew is currently the President at Johnson County Community College.

Andrew W. Bowne has a Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University, an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University, and a B.S. in Geography- Urban & Regional Planning from Western Michigan University. Andrew also has a doctorate in Leadership Grand Rapids.
