Corey Samo has a diverse work experience that spans over many years. Most recently, Corey worked as the Director of Operations at Johnny Doughnuts starting in October 2019. Prior to that, Corey spent a significant amount of time at Sift Dessert Bar, where they held various roles including District Manager from August 2010 to October 2019, Multi Unit Manager from February 2009 to February 2010, and Store Manager from April 2008 to February 2009. Before joining Sift Dessert Bar, Corey had a role as the Managing Partner at Hi Performance Choppers, Inc. from June 2004 to April 2008. Additionally, Corey started their career as a 4th Grade Teacher at Mount Diablo Unified School District from August 2001 to June 2004.

From 2001 to 2002, Corey attended the University of Phoenix and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in California Teaching Credential- Multiple Subject. The field of study focused on Elementary Education and Teaching.

Prior to that, Corey studied at San Francisco State University from 1999 to 2001, earning a Bachelor's degree. The field of study was Psychology.

Corey began their academic journey at Diablo Valley College from 1996 to 1999, where they achieved an Associate's degree in General Studies.
