Tony Van Hoorn is a seasoned audio engineering professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as an Audio Engineer at John Marshall Media, Inc. since June 2002, Tony specializes in audio books and language teaching programs at New York's top voice recording studio. Previously, Tony held the position of Chief Audio Engineer at Smythe & Co., Ltd. from 1990 to 2001, where responsibilities included recording, editing, and mixing music and voice-over projects. Early career experience includes the role of Audio Engineer at Automated Sound Studios, Inc. from 1983 to 1989, working on music sessions for television and radio commercials and collaborating with composers and producers. Tony is equipped with a solid foundation in audio engineering, having completed a program in Elements of Multi-Track Recording Technology at the Institute of Audio Research in NYC from 1980 to 1981.
