Suranga De Silva has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Starting in 2014, they worked at PwC as an Audit Associate for nearly three years before being promoted to Senior Associate. They later took on the role of Executive for six months before becoming a Project Manager for another six months. In 2019, Suranga joined INQUBE GLOBAL as an Accountant. They then moved on to JOHN KEELLS IT in 2020, initially as an Assistant Manager and later as the Head of Finance. Overall, Suranga has gained experience in finance, accounting, project management, and auditing throughout their career.

Suranga De Silva completed their Chartered Accountancy degree in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they pursued their advanced level education in Commerce at Ananda College from 2012 to 2014. From 2001 to 2011, Suranga attended Vidura College, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
