Jacob Pullin has work experience in various roles at different companies.

From 2021 to the present, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the John Innes Centre, where they focused on understanding how plants manage iron and zinc homeostasis through molecular switches.

Prior to that, from 2016 to 2021, Jacob had multiple roles at the University of Essex. Jacob started as a Laboratory Internship and later became a PhD Student, researching the free radical mechanism of ferritin species using spectroscopy. During their PhD, they had various responsibilities, including supervising undergraduate students, presenting at conferences, and organizing outreach events.

Before joining the University of Essex, Jacob worked at the University of East Anglia as a Senior Resident, Peer Assisted Learning Mentor, and Clearing Assistant.

Jacob attended the University of East Anglia from 2012 to 2016.
