Azam Lashkari has a diverse work experience in various research positions. They started their postdoctoral scientist role at John Innes Centre in April 2022 and their previous position was as a postdoctoral researcher at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) from January 2020 to March 2022. Prior to CIMMYT, they worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Southern University of Science & Technology from January 2017 to December 2019. Additionally, they held a research assistant position at Ewha Womans University from March 2014 to February 2015 and served as a visiting scientist at the same university from November 2012 to January 2013.
From 2010 to 2015, Azam Lashkari attended Ferdowsi University of Mashhad where they pursued a Ph.D. degree in Agroecology.
