Mark Abdalla, CFA, is a seasoned securities research analyst with extensive experience in investment analysis and recommendations. Currently employed at John G. Ullman & Associates, Inc. since February 2018, Mark is responsible for analyzing securities and presenting insights to the investment committee for a firm managing approximately $1 billion in assets. Prior experience includes founding Investing Upside LLC, where topical financial issues were addressed through a blog, and working as a research analyst at Strategic Financial Services, Inc., focusing on energy and materials investments for $900 million in assets. Mark has held various roles in investment research, including with Manning & Napier and BNP Paribas, and has a strong academic background with an MBA from Cornell University and degrees in economics from Boston University and Carnegie Mellon University.
