Chris Winkler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital software, data science, and engineering. Currently serving as Director of Digital Software and Solutions at John Deere since February 2019, Chris has held multiple leadership roles within the company focused on digital engineering and data science. Prior to this, Chris was Vice President of Engineering at Granular and spent several years at DuPont Pioneer in various senior IT management positions, leading significant digital transformation programs and developing data science competencies. With a foundation in research and analytics from positions at Pioneer Hi-Bred, Chris also holds a Master of Science in Meteorology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Iowa State University.
