Samer Salem has worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Joby Aviation since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation, starting as a Mechanical Design Engineer 1 from January 2018 to October 2018. Samer then held various roles in Energy Storage, including Associate Engineer and Engineer, from October 2018 to February 2021. In 2017, Samer worked as a Customer Resolution Manager and Technical Coordinator at GE Renewable Energy from May to August. Samer also served as a Thermodynamics Course Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from September to December 2017. Additionally, Samer gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation in 2016 and at OKOS Solutions, LLC in 2014.

Samer Salem completed their education from Carnegie Mellon University. Samer pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2016 to 2017 as well.
