Lovy Saing has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2010, Saing worked as an Administrative Assistant at GRID Alternatives for three months. Following this, Saing joined Grand Lake Ace Hardware in 2003 as an Associate and worked there for over 11 years. In 2014, Saing joined Tesla Motors and held various roles, including Body Center Quality Control and Engineering Technician III - Body Welding & Joining. Saing's tenure at Tesla Motors ended in 2018. Currently, Saing is employed at Joby Aviation, where they have held the positions of Mechanical Technician and Engineering Technician - Energy Storage.

Lovy Saing attended San Francisco State University from 2009 to 2014, where they studied Mechanical Drafting and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD. They obtained a degree in this field during their time at the university.
