Glendora Ferguson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Glendora is currently working as a Senior Software Program Manager at Joby Aviation. Previously, they worked at Boeing for over a decade, starting as a Project Manager and later transitioning to the role of Deputy Manager. In their role as a Deputy Manager, Glendora directed and managed an enterprise model based system engineering initiative, collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring industry standards were maintained. Glendora also actively managed a high-visibility model based system engineering project, streamlining procedures and documentation to increase team productivity. Before working at Boeing, Glendora worked at Tectura, where they led various projects, including one focused on flight deck lighting certification for the Boeing 787. Glendora also played a key role in developing complex computer airplane/satellite communication technology for Boeing systems. Glendora's work experience showcases their expertise in project management, team leadership, and driving successful planning and execution.
Glendora Ferguson completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 1990 and 1994. In addition, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2011.
