Brian Ford has a diverse work experience, starting in 2017 with roles at Cal Poly Racing as an Electronic Structures Lead and Steering Lead. Brian then worked as a Structures Intern at Stealth Space Company in 2018. From 2017 to 2019, Brian worked at Cal Poly Mechanical Engineering Department, serving as a Senior Student Shop Technician and later as a Safety Supervisor. In 2019, they joined Cal Poly Machine Shops as a Lead Technician before moving on to their current role as a Powertrain Manufacturing Engineer at Joby Aviation in 2020.

Brian Ford attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
