Barry Dinvaut, E.I.T, serves as a Senior Equipment Design Engineer at Joby Aviation since January 2025. Previously, Barry held positions such as Powertrain Test Engineer and Test and Integration Engineer at Elroy Air, focusing on motor drive testing and high voltage battery pack integration for the Chaparral aircraft. With experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Textron and various roles in mechanical design and testing for companies including ION GEO and Raytheon, Barry has developed a strong background in engineering design and troubleshooting. Additional experience includes mechanical testing for NASA's SLS rocket and leadership in university engineering projects. Barry earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
