Mark Blecher has had a diverse work experience in the field of ophthalmology. Mark started their career at Wills Eye Hospital in 1990 as an Attending Surgeon and currently holds the position of Chief Medical Administrator. In 1986, they became a Partner at Philadelphia Eye Associates, where they worked until 2020. Mark has also held various consultant positions at Johnson & Johnson, Abbott, and MDoffice. In addition, they have served as the Chief Medical Editor at Jobson Publishing and Co-Director of Cataract and Primary Eye Care at Wills Eye Institute. Mark was also the Medical Director at Kremer/TLC Laser Center from 1997 to 2014 and a member of the Board of Directors at Vantage EyeCare, LLC from 2018 to 2020. Their extensive experience demonstrates their expertise in the field of ophthalmology.
Mark Blecher completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at Brandeis University from 1974 to 1978. Mark then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, attending from 1978 to 1982. Afterwards, they pursued further education in the field of ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital from 1983 to 1986.
