Simon Carr has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Simon is currently working as a DevOps at Jobscan since September 2021. Previously, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Sycle from June 2020 to May 2021. Before that, they were a Website Coordinator at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto), Sinai Health System from March 2020 to June 2020.

Simon also has experience as a DevOps Engineer at Fitplan Technologies Inc. from October 2018 to May 2019, where they focused on building media distribution for fitness. Simon founded NanoTyrano Interactive Ltd., a developer shop specializing in web-facing applications, where they served as the owner and CEO from January 2016 to September 2018. Simon also worked as a Freelance Web Developer at Golf Canada from April 2014 to December 2015.

Prior to that, Simon was a Website Coordinator in the Research Department of Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, from September 2011 to December 2015. Simon also worked as an IT Infrastructure Consultant at Parent Media Group from 2008 to August 2014. Simon started their career as a Senior Consultant at Ineocom Technologies Inc. in October 1999 and worked there until November 2013. Additionally, they served as a Contract Web Developer at Prestoh from March 2012 to September 2013.

Simon has gained expertise in various technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Laravel, Ubuntu Linux, and Open Source technologies. Simon has experience in coordinating projects, managing teams, and utilizing Agile Kanban boards to execute complex projects efficiently.

Simon Carr attended Ryerson University from 1996 to 1997, where they studied Computer Programming/Programmer, General. From 2000 to 2001, they attended the Bell Centre for Creative Communications, specializing in Programming.
