Lyman McBride has a diverse work experience. Lyman began their career in 2012 at Brigham Young University as an Instrument Office Clerk - Brass Specialist. In 2016, they began working for the Curtis Institute of Music as an Episerver CMS Specialist, Content Migrator, and Staff Trainer. Lyman also began working as a Self-Employed Musician and Private Teacher as a Trombonist. In 2018, they began working at Yale University as an IT Assistant and T/A Yale Jazz Band. In 2021, they began working at JobNimbus as a Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineer, and also at Prosper IT Consulting as a Full Stack Developer Intern where they built a CMS for a Theater using ASP. NET framework and was assigned to track rentals to outside parties.

Lyman McBride's education history includes a Software Developer Boot camp from The Tech Academy in 2020-2021, a Master of Music - MM from Yale University in 2018-2020, a Diploma from Curtis Institute of Music in 2016-2018, and a Bachelor's degree in Trombone Performance from Brigham Young University in 2009-2016. Lyman also holds a Computer Science Career Path certification from Codecademy obtained in September 2020.
