Samuel Courtney has a long and varied work experience. Samuel began their career in 2016 as an IT Intern at Job Cost Inc, where they maintained databases through Powershell and discussed potential IT solutions with clients. In 2018, they became an Engineering Intern at GE Appliances, a Haier company, where they developed an IT inventory application and wrote scripts in VBA to assist users with plant data capture. Later that year, they also worked as an Inflight Crew Scheduling Analyst Intern at United Airlines. In 2019, they returned to United Airlines as an IT Project Management Intern - Employee and Enterprise Systems, and in 2020, they worked as a UA Capstone Design at The University of Alabama. In 2021, they took on two roles: Lead Software Developer at Buxons Development Group and Machine Learning Engineer at United Airlines. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Job Cost Inc.

Samuel Courtney attended The University of Alabama from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. Samuel also attended Waubonsie Valley High School from 2016 to 2020.
