Manfred Bodenlenz has extensive experience in the field of drug development, particularly in topical drug products, with a focus on transdermal drug delivery and clinical trials. Since January 2003, Manfred has been associated with Joanneum Research, where responsibilities include conducting PK-PD and BA-BE studies, early clinical proof of concept trials, and performing various preclinical and clinical testing methodologies, such as microdialysis and microperfusion. Previously, Manfred served as a WP-Leader for In Vivo Methods in the European COST Action SkinBad focusing on atopic dermatitis from 2009 to 2013, and worked as a Junior Researcher at the Medical University of Graz from 1999 to 2003, contributing to medical device development and clinical testing. Additionally, roles include serving as Responsible Person for Regulatory Compliance and Safety Officer for medical devices under the respective European directives. Educational background includes studies at Technische Universität Graz, The Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Patras.
