Katherine Bloom is an experienced advocacy manager currently employed at the Society for Neuroscience, where progress has been made through various advocacy-related roles since June 2021. Prior to this, Katherine served as a teaching assistant in the Psychology Department at James Madison University, assisting in "Developmental Psychology" classes and conducting research on gender and intergroup relations. Katherine has also contributed to research focused on workplace sexism through collaborations with Dr. Kala Melchiori. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology obtained from James Madison University and an enriching experience in cross-cultural psychology in Vienna, Austria, Katherine possesses a strong foundation in both academic and practical aspects of the field.
